I'm actually very impressed with the brakes in mine... they're light years ahead of my other Jeeps. Little to no brake fade, stops on a dime even on 37s. I don't live anywhere hilly though, so that may play into it. It's super flat around Toronto.

There is a couple of threads on the issue. Seems that the ABS module needs to be bled. To do that. You have to energize the ABS module.

If you have a soft or mushy peddle you my need to do an ABS bleed.
This happened on 2020 Willys and the dealer was no help and as I left the dealer I told then I will fix it myself. That was the last time I took my jeep to the dealer.
Here in some info on how air get in and how to bleed it out.
One note. Do not buy the Autel scanner. There is a yearly fee to update.

You have to ask your self.
How did the air get into the system after 30k miles.
Do you have a leak / Did you run low on fluid / Did you overheat the brakes and boil the fluid.
If air gets into the ABS system the only way to remove it is with an ABS bleed.

not sure if water or air was the culprit, although it was definitely “dirty” when it came out.
