This is officially my first Jeep build. So this may seem like a dumb question to the seasoned vets.
Is it recommended I break in my brand new Gladiator before a leveling kit and 35s?
Thanks

I would. You don't strictly have to, but during break in, you'd need to be SUPER light on the throttle to keep the load on the engine down. Especially if you have the 3.73 R&P.

I drove mine like normal. I've broken in a lot of vehicles and I simply drive them normally. I do not use the cruise or maintain steady RPMs for long periods. That's what's really hard. Flexing the rings, accelerations without over-revving, that helps things wear to fit.

The Perfect Circle ring break in procedure is literally heavy acceleration several times. Babying them is wrong and bad.

Do not baby it. Don't over-rev, but whatever you do, don't baby it. Drive it normal. Don't tow or haul maximum payload right away, but don't baby it. (key word in instructions below - drive normally)
