A couple weeks after picking up my Gladiator I noticed that my passenger-side MOPAR bed rail is missing the bracket for the M6 bolt that goes into the nutsert next to the tailgate. It appears to have been broken off at some point before/during installation. I've scheduled an appointment with my local dealer as this would be a warranty issue.
My silly question is would I be able to remove the rail before this dealer appointment to get my bed Line-X'd or should I leave it on and get the Line-X later? Of course it should not void the warranty (right?), but might be better to play it safe. Don't want the dealership thinking that the rail got damaged during removal, but not sure how much they'd care.
