Good morning guys.

Some debris flew off a cyber truck yesterday and hit my rear fender. I’m so pissed.
Does this looks like it can buff out or do I need a paint job? I already tried some scratch x and another mild polish. What say you?

Good morning. Thank you for replying. It’s on the actual paint just next to the reflection of the sun. Got some on the trim as well but that buffed out nicely. The damage to the painted surface feels rough..like a piece that only has primer.

Who is paying for the repair? If it’s Mr Cybertruck then have it painted. If it’s is you, buff it out the best you can and move on. It is a Jeep and not high end exotic sports car, so resale won’t be affected.

I’d get the fender painted then apply PPF to protect from future dings (PPF on all 4 fenders). Applying PPF to areas you want protected is a good idea. Although costly, I did my entire hood, front grill and around the windshield for ~$1K. The best of luck to you.
