Ordered a ventshade off amazon this weekend; it dropped in price, ~$60 instead of ~$100.

My Windshield also looks like Trippin01's any time I get on the highway during the day.

The "bug" deflector is actually just good at preventing rocks and road debris from hitting the hood and metal bottom of the windshield. Bugs on the windshield are a fact of life and there isn't anything you can do about it except drive through rain and use gallons of cheap windshield fluid.

@Bacstar How is that deflector holding up? Can you take a photo of where you attached the foam bumpers please. I’ve seen the outside ones do very little - don’t even touch.

Seems to be holding up well so far... 2 yrs and counting. I do see it flap a little bit when i take the jeep through those touchless jet carwash. I'll have to take a pic of where i put the bumpers though. I just kinda stuck them on the hood underneath the deflector.

i'm getting my windows ceramic coated next week. going to be great when i can easily clean the windshield......FINGERS CROSSED.

I have no idea because I never owned a jeep without one. I'd say the ceramic coating windshield is awesome, but not sure about the bug deflector.

No hood chips and just a few bugs near the top of the windshield.

That's the one I have. One on my JK and JT. Just looks cool. Formfit Tough Guard.

I asked that too. If anything, it should preserve the color. I didn't see the point in following up on that line of questioning ?
