I went the cheap route but it only lasted one season.

Bet this was a fun project though, any plans for a version 2?

Keep in mind that this camper covers the cab and bed. Almost no movement between the cab and bed due to the Jeep boxed frame that doesn't twist like traditional truck beds.

Filling the gap is simply a 1x6 board wrapped in fiberglass and covered with automotive carpet. It lays on top the bulkheads of the truck bed and cab.

I needed to tie the left and right sides of the camper together, and this also acts as the tie.
