Bumper question

I feel silly even posting this but I’m confused. I just bought a 2021 Gladiator Rubicon. It for sure has the ugly plastic front bumper. Do I get the steel rear bumper standard? I don’t see anything listed on the build and price, or my window sticker. What rear bumper do I have? ?‍

If you have the plastic front bumper, then you should have the matching rear bumper. The steel bumpers are a more expensive option.

Steel rear is standard on the JTR, plastic front is standard on the JTR. There are two factory options for the front in steel, 3 piece steel and the Heavy Duty single piece steel. I have the HD, by mistake, was my fault when I ordered it. It is a very nice heavy duty bumper.

I'm not sure I've seen a one piece HD steel bumper option. Can you post a pic of yours? Is that something the dealership installed, or is that a factory option?

But to the op, yes all JTRs have rear steel bumpers. Front steel is an added option.

If you do get the 3-piece front steel bumper and want to add a winch, you will also need to purchase a winch carrier plate. They seem to run $200-$300 if you install it yourself.

I have the diesel that already adds a bunch of weight upfront, so kinda regret getting the factory steel option. Been considering picking up something like a Rugged Ridge Arcus (aluminum) front with an integrated winch plate for ~$500 total.

I have the JTR and it came with the platic font bumper and the steel rear bumper. I know the rear is steel because I removed it to add a hitch. I think that is the stock Rubicon build.

I have the optional winch protector and needed to order a different skid plate. I was able to use the factory LED fogs with an adapter I bought. Winch plate is from ATP, single piece unit.
