To be honest, I think the same thing you do. I think it’s a liability thing for the guys that don’t want to say yes.
you can mount a 12,000 pound winch and lift your truck off the ground by the nose. But no, you can’t flat tow with it.
That said if I was flat towing, I would never buy one that the manufacturer didn’t say yes on
