Hello Jeep World,

I currently own a Jeep JK, but want to upgrade to a newer Jeep. I’ve been wanting to switch to a Gladiator. Recently saw a 2023 Gladiator Freedom at 35000 miles for about 30k. I think it’s a decent price. But I’m also aware of the recent recall and am wondering if it’s worth buying ? I’ve typed in the VIN number and it is part of the recall list. How much of a risk am taking ? Or not to worry and go for the purchase. Any advice and input would be appreciated. Thanks

Go for it if you’re happy with the deal offered. The chances of any of the recalled vehicles actually burning is about the same as being struck by lightning.

Go for it!! The recall fix will be available sooner then later. If you feel its a good deal do it. Freedom edition is one of the best trims for value and comes with a lot of the upgrades like steel bumpers, steel rock rails, steel bed cab rails and LED lights. Some have the max tow options. 2021 version was even better with manual transmission and diesel options and satin carbon wheels which are highly underrated.
