My JL backup camera quality was great. This Gladiator sucks. Yet my front camera seems to be good quality. Is everyone's like this or did I just get "it's a Jeep thing" lucky? And no it's not dirty.

Then this should be an easy warranty fix. I haven't even checked, but could there be a protective cover that wasn't removed from dealership??

Not normal.
What he said.

I will say, though, that of all of the Jeeps I've had - our 23 JLU, my 20 JT, 22 JT and now the 25 JT - the 20 and 22 had the best images by far.
My 25 is a slight step backwards from my 22 - but it's still better than those from the OP.

Yeah I'm sure the dealership will say it's normal. I don't really care one way or the other since I only backup a handful of times a day and it's good enough, but it's a big difference from the front camera.

Not normal. I’ve gotten used to how great my back up camera is, but literally every time I have a passenger and they see it, they’re shocked at how great it is.

When I first got my first JT - that's one thing I noticed - the camera was far far better than the one in my wife's 2021 Grand Cherokee!

I’ll never forget when I had my tires installed when mine was new. A friend of mine was a Land Rover/Jag tech and he hooked me up on a Saturday. When he put it in reverse to back up off of the lift, he said he deals with six figure cars all day long and my back up camera is way better. He seemed shocked.

I figured it couldn't be this bad for everyone especially when the front one is good. Let's hope they find the reason or at very least replace camera and/or harness.

Not to ask the obvious question but did you take a careful look at the camera and the lens? It almost looks like the lens may not be totally straight in the camera. Take a piece of soft cloth, like microfiber, and clean the lens (or however Jeep recommends cleaning the lens). Then lightly press on the lens and see if it snaps into place. Also, as was mentioned by others, check that there is nothing on the lens (like a protective film) that was never removed. In any case, the dealer should be able to correct it for you. My '2024 Gladiator has a backup camera that is as clear as my wife's BMW. If the dealer says it is normal, get the keys from another Gladiator on the lot and compare the quality of what you have to the one on the lot. If there is a noticeable difference (which there likely will be) then there is not much more the dealer can say.
