Still perfecting, but love this setup. The James Baroud RTT is really nice and comfortable and very quiet even with heavy wind.
I need to redo the suspension (need overland HD rear springs and just a better all around suspension for a truck… as I use it for that. I have Rubicon Express 3.5” lift and 37’s. To be fair I have carried loads in bed to max spec capacity and towed right up to the Max Tow limit).
Recently had an endurance mountain bike race in upper Wisconsin and camped up to race from TN, camped with My Bud’s at the race. Right now it is sitting in Wi, I’m back in TN but in a week I am camping in Wi, and UP Michigan. I’ll head out in nearly a month trip in my JT headed out west to explore.
I also have a fridge in cab with 2/3rd seat delete, Jackery Battery Generator and solar.

Camped and mtn biked at one of my fav coastal areas - Morro Bay, San Simeon, Montana de Oro!! Sure beats the heat escaping from So Cal! This has been in the family since kids were young, sweet memories. Oh, got ducked (or toucaned) too

What are you with families of 5 or more doing for your set up?
I like more rugged tent type of camping, but my wife prefers the more luxury stuff with bathroom and air / walls etc.

Got her to camp in a small cabin weekend before last, nothing in it but a bed , bunk bed, and a ceiling fan. No air or bathroom.
