Can Mojave tires fit on Sport S stock wheels?!?!

Hey guys anyone know if you can take the 17in wheels from the sport s (black wheels) and put Falken Wildpeak 285/70r17 tires on them? Thanks!

All the 17" Jeep wheels are the same width. The Mojave wheels have a slightly different offset than the rest to clear the shocks. So, yes the Mojave/Rubicon 285/70R17 tires will fit on sport wheels.

I just put 285/70/17 Wildpeaks from a Rubicon on my factory Willys wheels

You need to make sure that the tires don't rub your closure panels, other than that they should fit fine. If they do rub, or come close, I would suggest removing them, it's not all that hard and it gives you what should be plenty of clearance for the tires. And, it makes the Sport-S look more like the Rubicon.

Here are my 285 70 17 ridge grapplers that I put on today. These will have to hold me over for a bit until I’m ready for full blown lift and wheels. I think they actually look great on the base sport wheels

I went to 33" tires on mine, but kept stock sport tire width with 255-80-17E Falkens, which are 10 lb. each lighter than the Rubi/Mojave size in C rating. I have no clearance issues with the stock suspension and plastic fairings between the fenders and bumper. I got my tires from Discount Tire for about what take-offs would cost, but I also got the tire warranty. I am happy that they are slightly taller (33.1 vs. 32.8"), narrower is better in snow, and my gas mpg was not hurt.

Sure, here's my Sport stock steely wheels on 37 12.5 17 tires so yes you will be fine.
