Canadian Y81 DEF recall

“DEF” may not operate as designed leading to excess emissions.

Blah if this means more DEF usage, pound afghan sand FCA.

Just got this notification today 3/11/2022 but can't find any details on the Y81.

Yeah same. I had no ETA on getting it done. No longer have the 3.0, went back to a 3.6.

Never any issues with mine. I threw the recall out.

Im not Canadian and was told about the Y81 recall and updated while mine was at the dealer while it was in for faults p208b-00 and p20c6-00. Just got it back. Mine used very little def compared to others. 5400 miles and still have the same tank of def from factory.

Good tips. I just checked on mine is recall eligible. I haven't been getting nearly the fuel economy I expected or that some of you are getting after the service.

That sounds like a lot, but, did it go through and active regen or something during that time? Mine has a little over 4000kms on it now. I was at 100% DEF for somewhere above 3300kms, then it has used about 25% since then. I feel like DEF usage is not linear at all.

Just got mine done. Software flashed from AF to AG.
