37 for daily road driving is OK. Maybe light trails.

Gearing always helps but if you are thinking about it, you are going to do it.

315/70R17 is mathematically 34.4, and generally measures closer to 34 when mounted. Depending on your model, they’re only 1-2 inches taller than stock.

I'm running 35x12.50R17 on 8.5" wide wheels on stock suspension and have no issues.

I was running about 5/8" strong to the drivers side and bought a Synergy track bar and brought it back to even.

Unless you're going to run some rough trails, I don't think you'll see any issues. There is a TON of stuff room in the Rubi fenders.

You haven’t told us which model you have and do you have the 4.10 or 3.73 gears...

It's in his stats, he has a Rubi and I'm just assuming with an automatic so 4:10 gearing.

Took a 12' cargo trailer down to Chula Vista from the Central Valley, step-son's family had a bunch of household in storage that needed delivered. KO2's in 315/70/17's are 34.5" tall on factory Rubicon rims (7.5" wide), speedo corrected with a Tazer. No issues going up the Grapevine or keeping up with traffic on the 5. 8th is still viable, in other words.

The Tazer gives me a locker in 2Hi, front swaybar disconnect in 2Hi, etc etc etc.

Do you have a lift? I don’t understand why just swapping tires out would cause you to run 5/8 strong to one side. But I admit I don’t understand lifts very well. If by chancel I didn’t go with 37s and just with 35s could that happen ?

You shouldn't need any suspension mods on a Rubicon for any tires up to 35". Jeep advertises that Rubicon can fit up to 35" tire with no rubbing and a 35" spare will fit under the bed without issues.

So the only thing you would need to do with 34.4" tires is recalibrate your speedometer. This can be done by any dealership or with one of the many electronic programmers out there for Wranglers/Gladiators.

No, stock suspension.

I would say check what you have now with stock track bar. After talking to a few local JK and JL owners, the stock track bar didn't have them dead centered with stock wheels and tires and it grew with aftermarket wheels and bigger tires.

So many variables and different tolerances in play, always better to measure first.

How can you measure that?

How can you measure that?

I took a two foot level to the outside of the tire above the center line of the tire and then measured back to the fender on each side.

If you want to lay down and get it a little closer to true, measure from frame to tire on each side, as close to vertical center of tire as possible.
