A modular steel half rack is not unique. You estimate delivered prices to be $600-$700 unpainted, on a group deal. Add local powder coating and you are not much cheaper than anyone else.

That reply might have conveyed some animosity, I apologize. That said, we aren't trying to come in cheaper than anyone. You're absolutely right in that a modular half rack isn't anything ground breaking (The market is actually already pretty saturated). However, we do believe that some of the features of our rack allow it to stand out from others. The pricing for a majority of our parts is on the higher end of the cost spectrum as compared to others...but we charge what we feel is a fair price to the customer while also allowing us to pay our employees fair wages. Shipping is often the kicker, and even with the amount of money we spend on shipments every year rates can still be pretty steep from UPS and others alike.

We would love to offer coating options on everything we make, but at this point havent found it very feasible with the added costs that get passed down to the customer. That said, we are still exploring the potential to add powder coating options to some of our product lineup to hopefully expand the customer base as we know not everyone has access to a local powder coater.

Just a quick update as Im pretty positive all that ordered are in this thread.

BedRacks are here, just waiting on the panels you all ordered to be finalized (laser cut) and gathering hardware.

I will personally reach out to those that asked to pickup when we have these finalized.

i got the package yesterday and was it very well packaged. on Monday it will go in to be powder coated and i will share pictures at that time.

i dropped the unit off at the powder coating place today and should pick it up next friday.
28 April 22 update:
i picked up the painted parts today and will work on assembly and install this weekend.

i received the parts back from powder coating on Thursday and installed on Friday. i installed the RRT Saturday. I had the main bed rack powder coated Super grip Starlight. the panels Desert Grey Wrinkle and the angle brackets flat black. i have the pictures below.
