Love my JT Mojave 2020 but light has gone again and same symptoms as last time - shaking and oil burning smell. Last time was an oil leak.

Had cylinder firing issues, new steering brace, new cam shaft and now this.

warrant expires sept but I do have an extension booght to mydealer albeit $200 deductible and it’s a massive pain to get it in the shop with being so busy at work.
What would you do ?

What where the codes previously? This is a known issue on 2020’s and if the dealer isnt diagnosing as the known issue but instead just going off codes they will never fix it

Another valve cover leak getting the O2 sensor wet with oil throwing off the voltages resulting in a misfire?

I’ll look up the last report and make sure to get specifics when I go in on Fri

So went to dealer today
Same issue as before, valve cover leak
You were right Ian Nubbit
This time they are replacing the value cover, last time just the gasket.
Anything else I should make sure they do / don’t ?
Will this fix the issue, assuming they don’t make mess of it ?

My CEL came on today. First time in a while. It vanished again like a fart in the wind. Never stores codes and no real issues.
Just popped-up to let me know that it was thinking about me or something.

If it is the passenger side valve cover they are replacing, I suggest paying for a new PCV valve to be replaced. Should be a parts only cost as they have to remove the old PCV valve before they remove the cover if they are going by the book.

I’ve had that happen and it then stayed on
Hope you have more luck
In Uber to get my Mojave , they replaced gasket cover this time as well as the caps - last time it was just the caps.
Fingers crossed !
