Center Console USB Port

Since the day I bought my 2021, Willy's the USB port that is inside the center console does not hold a solid connection. When I use it with car play or charging it constantly connects and disconnects. I have not gotten it fixed yet, curious if anybody else has experienced this issue.

Try this:
Disable USB Restricted Mode". Long and short:
1. Go into Settings
2. Go into "Face ID & Passcode"
3. Scroll to the bottom, and look for "USB Accessories". Mine (iPhone 12 Pro) was disabled (by default); I enabled it.
4. Exited Settings.

It did.
I am using the Car2Play adaptor and I noticed before the change, I would get at least one reboot or lockup for a 20 minute ride. I tried plugging it into the dash USB and that completely eliminated the issue so I know it wasn't the Car2Play piece.
Fast forward, I have done this AND added a USB splitter under the console so I can plug in the adaptor and a wireless charging pad. Even with all that, I have experienced one reboot in the past two weeks. Could chalk that up to just asking CarPlay to do too much.
