...only until the badly worn tread blocks are evened out. This is why frequent rotations are important, especially with knobbier tires.
I used to rotate every oil change back when you changed oil every 3k miles. Many sets of aggressive tires like MTRs, Interco, and Mud Grapplers to name a few. It seemed to me my quietest tires were the ones I didn’t swap side to side.

i hear the wildpeaks need aggressive rotation schedule. like 3k miles.

my new 25 mojave has 4k miles and they're looking like that, i was going to do them at 5k, but did them sooner. rears were just fine, fronts were cupping/scalloping like that.

hoping it evens out with them on the rear. did not cross rotate.

I’ve never actually had a tire do this. It was pretty surprising when I was rolling the tires around to do the rotation. I could actually see and feel it lunging rolling by hand. In my head I was thinking no wonder she’s getting vibrations.
Wont be getting 35’s on this one until I can get er on some solid axles. Maybe some JL or JT take offs. To my knowledge CVs won’t handle them on the trail.
have them rebalanced, it’s cheap insurance.

Not normal for that to be happening on your new Mojave. I have used WildPeaks on several rigs, including two Gladiators in 34's and 35's, never had an issue with scalloping. WildPeaks don't need any more rotations than any other tires. Something else is going on..

Sounds like you need some warranty work……. Tires should never ā€˜cup’ that early.

I have Wildpeaks on my 2024 with 13,000 miles - no cupping and normal wear. I get them rotated with my oil changes (5,000miles).
