Is anyone else hearing a light clatter/knock coming from either valve cover?
First off, my engine has never really sounded very quiet since the day that I brought it home.
That said,
recently I have been hearing a light clattering sound coming through the grill while standing in front of the jeep, when the engine is hot.
I started to investigate the location of the sound today, after I thought that the sound was getting louder.
It's coming from the passenger side valve cover.
I made a service appointment for next week at the dealer.
Build date 2/20
I'm at 6,800 miles, it has always ran great except for a slightly rough idle. Have never had any trouble alarms or lights, and fuel economy has been great. 23.4 MPG (showing on the dash at this time).
