Remounted original tires/wheels. Low speed vibration (5-10mph) resolved (maybe just aggressive tread pattern?) Vibrations reduced greatly at ~25mph. Still felt some around 50, but maybe only 70% less. Now I’m thinking it’s a combination of rear driveline issue with larger heavier tires that are slightly out of balance. Each issue amplifying the other. Could be wrong, but that’s my guess. I’ve had the tires balanced twice, but maybe ones out of round or I have a warped wheel? Time to visit a different shop and do a road force balance. Then maybe time to consider an out of balance rear drive shaft.
Buy spacer to lower the carrier bearing on rear driveshaft .that may help also

Hey guys, this is something we are looking into at the moment, but yes any JT that comes from the factory without a FAD is going to need to replace the front driveshaft in order to prevent issues!
So is this new Info? I was going to go 2.5 so I didn’t have to replace my driveshaft

It's not that needing to replace the front driveshaft in certain situations is new, it's just that for some reason, Jeep started releasing random models on some of the newer Jeeps without the front axle disconnect, where traditionally this was only done on specific models like the 392 since the introduction of the JL. Basically, if the FAD isn't there, you are definitely going to want to replace the front driveshaft, the same way it was always recommended on something like the TJ or the JK when doing any sort of lift. We're just trying to figure out what models Jeep made this change to and why, hope this helps to answer your question though!

So, after about 7,000 miles (mostly on road) it happened…torn boot on front driveshaft. Clayton, what drive shaft do you recommend?

After reading your post, I went out and crawled under my Jeep. I've had a 3.5" lift on for 12k miles. I'm not really sure what I'm looking at. The end of the driveshaft that goes into the front differential doesn't have a boot. It's just a u-joint that looks fine. The end that goes into the transfer case looks a little greasy. Is that the end that has the boot? Does the grease around that area mean my boot is torn too?

Both Adams and Tom Woods are great options!

That’s what mine looked like, if you look more closely, I’ll bet your boot is torn.
