What’s everyone’s opinion on the Clayton Off-road Triple Rate springs? I use my JTR for off-road exploration 60%, off-roading/rock crawling in Moab 20%, and 20% around town. I have a bedrock, but no RTT. Will these be too harsh? I have Falcon SP3.2 shocks.

oh, these are 3” lift springs

I have Clayton 2.5” HD rear springs. They are perfectly comfortable as a DD. Shocks make a much bigger impact on ride.
I started with JTR spacer lift. As I added weight (skid plates and rock sliders, 100#tonneau, 100# bed rack, tools, subwoofer) my lift diminished. Even bone stock JTR shocks are super soft and wallowy.
I put on 2.5” HD rear springs and 2.5” front springs. Ride was similar but height way better. Changed to Mojave shocks, ride was way better.

Clayton recs 3.5” front springs for JT btw and I can see why, I have a large rake now. Springs support weight and shocks cushion ride. Of course there is some compromise between the two but you get way more change in ride from shocks. Height with springs.

What’s your difference in gap between top of tire and fender?(front and rear) I have the Clayton diesel front springs which raise it about 1” along with a 1.5 level kit. I’m curious if I will be level after installing the rear HD 2.5 triple rate springs.

Sorry, took a few days to get time to park flat and measure.
Tire to fender will change with tire size, I’m on 37” STT Pros.

axle to frame might be better measure of spring lift.
Note I have the 2” bump stop on there.

I think there’s at least 200 pounds in the bed, probably 250.
I have a Bak 4s (I think 90lbs), ~100# bed rack, and tools/compressor.
This is front with my 2.5” springs. Not sure what you’d get with your diesel.
