The info here...

https://www.jeepgladiatorforum.com/...availability-dates-start-of-production.16034/

... was more or less good until Hydro Blue. It's now about a month behind.

No one knows and Jeep isn't telling if that delay is going to carry through to the other colors or if they'll catch them up or release them all at once, etc.

We could and have done much speculating, but the truth is, those colors are coming out sometime, probably, maybe, most likely, soon. Insert your favorite non-committal word of choice.

My guess is they'll all start showing up, one at a time, but late as they deal with production problems and delays. But that's just my guess, not worth the pixels it's printed in.

Well you never know. They may surprise us all, and be on time 9-16. I am surprised that “Jeep cares” is communicating poorly with its clients! Kind of contradicts their name, lol!

So I'm starting down that disappointing trail of pinging LA area dealers for best price and to place my order for Gator. The latest one responded that ordering Gator would be 3 - 6 mo out. What a douche- seriously, they will play any game to get a desperate someone to buy off their lot. They also refused to take any order over the phone.. going in to a dealer to haggle is the last thing I want to do.

He might not be wrong. Better that, than overpromising and underdelivering.

But if he truly doesn't know, then its messed up to state that info. I'd hate to give in and and order something else, only to have gator be released within amonth. All because I trusted a salesman who probably had no idea

Yea I agree, but I always try to look from both perspectives. Of course he wants a sale now, so you could absolutely be right. But, what happens if you're timing out a lease and expecting to get into this car in a specific time period, or in the case of many of our LE future owners, you expect 8-12 weeks and end up waiting 6 months? I got it both ways when shopping. One guy told me 6 months, the next dealer told me 3 weeks. I finally found one that told me 8-12 weeks, and stuck with her. I even switched colors because I felt that based on my research, we might have some issues with these late availability colors. No one could tell me different, I needed to research and come to that conclusion myself or I wouldn't have been happy with inevitably going with Punk'n.

Even so, now we're starting to see possible issues with paint mismatches on different pieces of the truck (see Punk'n thread). Imagine how this could end up screwing with future colors if there was an issue with the production of Punk'n and it got past inspection.

Moral of the story is, if this made you uncomfortable, he's probably not the salesman you want to deal with on a 50k+ business transaction.

2nd and most important morale of the story: Dealerships suck, and many of the sales people suck even more, with very few exceptions. Almost none of them know what they are talking about, and more often than not, you should just come here for your information. Then and only then will you be happy with waiting, or ordering, or whatever you choose.

Stuck.... I want Sting Grey but my wife thinks she likes Gator... need to see Gator before ordering. Already ordering parts and buying wheels. Definitely getting a Gladiator- just a matter of which color.

Ya, same here.I just spent $2,500 on RSE step sliders. I couldn't pass up the 10% off. I've also got a few decals from pixel decals on the way.

Follow up on this. IF you look through the Punkn Thread the day before it's release dealers (including "someone from corporate") said that it wouldnt be released for months. The next day order banks opened...
Point is they either have no idea or they are intentionally trying to get you to cave and by that day.

Anticipating the ability to order my Gator soon, I'm speculating how it will look with either the black leather or the saddle leather. Kinda thinking it would look good with either, but it's a tricky call to make with the uncertainty about the shades of either. What are you all thinking? I'm thinking Saddle..

I dont like the red dash. So getting the saddle leather for that reason alone.
