I did originally, which is how I met Mighty, but now we’ve got a group, so normal communication. I rarely work Sundays, so I’m in as long as I’m not avoiding helping with kid stuff. :)
Yep, same here, kids come first. I hope to get out on the trails one of these days.

Just say the word. If I can join, I will. @Mightytalldude will have better ideas for winter areas than I will. Everything up here is impassable until May or June. But I do like driving though snowbanks.

Sounds good. I'm booked up for the next few Sundays. Looks like February 18 is the next free day.

February 25th would be my next Sunday opportunity. I can look at the local trails and see what their conditions are.

Sounds good. I should be able to go on the 25th, unless something crazy happens.
I’m in. It’s on my calendar. :)

I am sure some have done it, not me. I have heard rampart range road is fun, i think that’s the name. Goes from Douglas county south.

My off-road driving is usually camping/hunting related I have never done a focused offroad trip. There are some trails up around Nederland area I plan to hit this summer. I need a new hobby and the recent jeep purchase gives me an excuse. I was never scared with my Nissan Titan, but it was a bit wide for some spots I took it through, but it was a trooper. The JT is better equipped to push the limits a bit more

We’re going to have fun. Nothing beats a Jeep.

The trails up by Nederland are ones I've driven a bunch. If there's no snow, they'll be drivable. Pickle Gulch is really pretty, technical in spots with rock ledge stair steps, but if it's wet, will be difficult due to mud in a few spots. There's a whole bunch of spur trails to loop back through, but that would be my first choice. I put a whole bunch of way points last time so I wouldn't get lost. Second would be Bunce School Road further North, with Ironclads if dry. Middle St Vrain is closed until late June usually so it's out. All are dependant on weather and existing snow.

The trails in Nederland sound familiar. I used to have a Ram Rebel, I think I may have driven some of those trails before.

I know there was one up by the Boy Scout camp we camped by a few years back. Before the jeep. I would have taken the Nissan Titan, but the weekend didnt have the time. I have always wanted to go just because. I will do it one day!

I will join as well but not sure about 2.25. The Middle St Vrain trails around Camp Dick are great, if you beat the SxS swarms. I also like to hit the trails around Mt Saxon by ID Springs. I usually stay away from Rampart (dirt bikes) until it flows into Rainbow Falls and the Gulches in CO Springs approaching Divide (”mini Moab”). Those gulches are really popular with the Gen6 Bronco groups too, all good people to wheel with.

Sounds great! How difficult would you rate these trails, would a stock gladiator be OK doing these. I'm just trying to get a feel for what the truck is capable of doing, it's is new to me.

I haven’t done all of those, but @Mightytalldude suggested them with stock rigs and people new to jeeps in mind. You’ll genuinely be amazed at what they can do bone stock. Mine was bone stock in these pictures. Not a scratch. It was a walk in the park.
