We've done quite a few trails in that area last few months. It's late enough in the season, more likely to get caught in snow on top of the high trails in the coming weeks. Definitely have a trail buddy. If we were still hitting trails this season, would invite you along. Last week was our last high peak outing. Most of the lower trails we like are closed due to fire damage and washouts.
Yeah. The cold has started, but hoping for one more weekend at moderate elevations. We’re hitting UT at the end of the month to guarantee that we get one more good run. Let me know if you change your mind and want to do some this weekend.
Heading to Grand Junction to visit parents this weekend. Should have some good Aspen viewing along the way, and on top of Grand Mesa though.
