Good morning. Just ordered 315/70/17 BFG All terrain C. I'll be running them on quadratec wheels with 5.2 backspacing(+10 offset). From everything I've read these should fit a sport S just fine. I know I'll need to remove that little pieces of bumper on each side. Please confirm for me that Im good to go. I know its too late now but Now I have to make them fit.
Thanks

Yes that's the perfect fit. You'll have to trim the lower air dam some. But I recommend leaving the closure panels in place and just trim them up, because they are functional. They help with aero and they also keep road grime, mud, water, salt, etc. out of the fog light housings.

Maybe, but they’re ugly. If there literally was a dog turd on the hood which made it more aerodynamic, would you leave it there?

Ugly is an opinion. Some like and appreciate them. Many folks don't think they are less of a man (or woman) if they have those.

I don't like mud on the tops of the front bumper and they don't interfere with driving, they help MPG and keep the bumper and lights clean.
I wish I had them because mine literally tosses stuff up there and it blows back onto the windshield!

And this example is the LEAST dirt it's thrown lately - I washed off the caked mud that was sitting up there.
Today it was really throwing sand and mud. I've had to run the windshield washers to keep the crud off that flies from these areas and gets blown back.

If it put money in my pocket? I'd scoop them up from the yard and put them on there.

but you'd at least paint them body color, or perhaps black to match the trim or fenders, right?

If someone else doesn't like it, they don't have to look. If someone else takes them off, send them to me.

Even 1 mpg saved over a 20 gallon tank is 20 miles. That's a free gallon of gas with each tank if you get 20 mpg.
Even if it wasn't that generous, it's still a free gallon over maybe 2 or 3 tanks. At the current prices of gas, that could be a buck for each fill or more saved. How many fills a month - a year times that dollar.
Then in my case, the mud and dirt tossed not only onto the bumper that you have to SCRUB off because it's textured bumper ends, and then onto the windshield like happened with me. (costing windshield washer fluid)
