Something interesting I've observed regarding the angle of the control arm joints. I'm new to jeeps so this doesn't make sense to me at all as to why this info conflicts.
Metalcloaks arms and statement about the joint angle:
Synergy's control arm and statement about joint angle:
I wanted to offer some clarification on the above post regarding the control arm alignment. I think MCs statement about "building it right" is a little misleading. The Duroflex bushing in the MC control arm from what I understand is a very good bushing, however the inner "sleeve" is bonded to the outer rubber part. If the joint housings were misaligned, the bushing would be in a constant state of preload thusly and essentially prohibiting MC from having misalgined joint housings. The bushings would get trashed and wouldn't last long. I don't think this is right or wrong, just the design philosophy MC went with. FWIW, I think MC arms are pretty good and I'm highly considering them for my JT based on what I need out of a lift.
