I didn’t think about the parking in the shade part, but you are correct, I’m in the I.E., and the sun out here is brutal.

When I was in the car biz a longgggg time ago, my boss drove his demo to the corner convenience store for a bag of Cheetos one evening. He left the car running outside, and someone immediately stole it.

We saw it on the six o’clock news that night with the highway patrol in hot pursuit, with sparks flying just like that because the perp was doing 70-80mph on rims after they blew out his tires with those stop strips.

We recovered the vehicle, replaced the rims and tires, and sold it two weeks later with full disclosure that it had been stolen (and on the news!).
