Coolant level

Should I add coolant to the reservoir when the engine is warmed or cold. When warm the level is low.

There should be an indicator on the side of the tank showing the level when cold. It doesn't need any added until the cold level goes below that line. If you add any, make sure it is the correct type.

I’d leave it alone unless it’s under the minimum, cold.

You can, but I would not go more than half way to maximum. I'm at 4.5 years and 56k miles and have not needed to add any coolant.

Fluid levels such as brake, power steering and coolant are "cold" levels.
And it will vary with the ambient air temperatures - it will appear lower if it's 20 outside than when it's 80 outside - engine off and cooled in both cases.
I make sure it's in the middle engine off, cooled down and air temps outside in the 60-80s or so. In other words, engine off for several hours, moderate air temps.

I routing my winch wires today and noticed my coolant is below the minimum line. Here’s a photo. Blue gloved finger pointing to the approximate line.

This is with the engine cold overnight. Didn’t start the vehicle today at all. Ambient temps around 67 F.
Is this too low? Is it just that there’s a good bit of coolant in the lines? Do I need to add more here?

my power steering fluid is also just at the minimum line. Do I need to worry about this level? Attached a picture of thet as well.

If it is at or just below minimum, I would not about it, if everything is working. If it gets significantly below, I would start looking for leaks.
