I’ve got some corrosion starting on my 2021 JT Rubicon, and I’m trying to figure out the best way to get it taken care of under warranty. Does anyone know the proper steps to make sure the repair is done right?
I’ve heard a lot of horror stories; dealerships either trying to dodge the repair or not submitting to Jeep in time, Jeep delaying repairs while in warranty just so they can deny the claim stating it is now out of warranty
, or the paint job being so bad that the corrosion comes back in a year or two. I really want to avoid all that and go through the right channels. Ideally, I’d like it repaired by a shop that offers a lifetime warranty on their paint work. Any advice or recommendations would be appreciated! I’m in Salt Lake City and have had great experiences with my local dealership but after reading all the horror stories I just want to make sure I get it right the first time with no delays that eventually turn into denials.
@JeepCares please help!
