Couple issues no answers

First off love my Gladiator and appreciate being added to the forum. About six months ago my gladiator started making an odd noise, typically when giving the gas to go when stopped but will also do it while driving. It doesn’t happen all the time but is frequent. It almost sounds like a pump squealing or a belt. At times it will start to squeaking and I can rev the engine and it will get louder and quit. I have been to two dealerships and neither has an answer or that they have heard it. I’ve even showed them video with the sound. The second thing I’m having is after any time the vehicle has been stopped and not moving when I initially start to go there is a squeaking sound from my back wheels, kind of like brakes rubbing that quits after I’ve started moving a few hundred feet. Again, had it looked at but no answers. Anyone else experiencing this?

Process of elimination, are you sure it's the fact that you're giving it gas that's making the pump like noise, and not the release of the brake pedal itself?

The way you describe these I also have both with my 2020. I had my brakes replaced two years ago and the wheel squeaking went away until maybe 6 months ago. Still no idea what it is. another forum member found a small rock lodged in his caliper and once it was removed his squeak went away. Maybe start there.

The engine sound for me is %100 from my throttle body. I over torqued a bolt there and now it has a very small whistle when accelerating. Not enough for me to really care at the moment or cause an issue. But its present. if you have an intake installed id double check all the bolts and clamps along it.

The pump sound could be the electric vacuum pump used for the brake booster. Sit the jeep up against a wall, stay in park, and press the brakes and left off a few times, see if you can replicate the sound.

I have the 2nd problem since my Gladiator was new, Oct. 2019. Now it has 53K miles. I believe it is the emergency brake that squeaks a little when taking off. For me it is my drivers side rear. If you pump the brake or pull the emergency brake up and down a few times, it goes away. I will take a closer look when I change the rear pads. It is almost time. I changed my front brake pads already.

Some JL's have noise like the first one you described. There's a rubber grommet in the fire wall. It was missing....driver's side. New rubber grommet in--noise was gone.

Other JL owners reported issues with the turbo on their 4 cylinder. (edit: I think you have a 3.6 so this wouldn't apply.)

Well for me it was a combo of no sleep and bro tight.

So > 20ft lbs to the throttle body bolts

Now the upper left one spins after 5-6ft lbs ?‍

I am having something similar. From like 58mph and up hi pitched squeal. At highway speed I lightly touch the pedal loud squeal, let off practically goes away. Seems coming from drivers side front.
