G’day mates. I ordered these combined mirror foot pegs that involve no bolts from kikbax off-road. They’re pretty legit. Pricey but they don’t shake at all. Very good quality. I’m not a fan of the circle mirrors really but in all honesty I wouldn’t use mirrors at all if the law didn’t require it ?

that being said- the foot pegs are very bland. Literally just black pegs. Looking for advice on how to cover the pegs- make it a little thicker and add color. *Note- I’m a healthcare worker, not a welder. I have creativity and dece dexterity but lack crazy tools.

-current idea is to buy Half inch PVC insulation and then cover it with either tape or re-grip. Tape would be easy but won’t look too clean. Regrip I can’t really picture.
- considered bike pegs which have potential to look great but then I have to consider 1) getting them over the angled metal on the end of the peg and 2) keeping them mounted / not sliding and bouncing.

let me know if anyone has any success or ideas to consider

while we’re at it - anyone have quick convenient ideas for rear foot pegs ? I currently live in a high rise so I don’t really have my tools to fully tighten bolts at all times. I don’t really take the back doors often but would liketo have something that is a real quick pop doors off, pop peg in, clip? Done

Any Friends with welding equip. I would cut it down and weld a Harley Davidson footpeg to it. So many choices for the cool look. Then touch up with black paint.

BTW, you need some door sill protectors!!!!!

Can anyone confirm if JT and JL have same size door sills? Sites love telling you something isnt compatible so you "must" buy the one for JT, but at the end of the day the two models share sizing on many parts

This is not what you're looking for but it would be cool as all get out. Has a 3/8-16 bolt on the back so you would have to get creative mounting it. But hey, how cool is that?

Just going to add...

There's never been a better time to be a circle mirror.

If you get it, you get it. ;)

They should be exactly the same. The only difference is from the end of the back door aft! (And the frame)
