I just took off my hard top and installed the soft top.

With the hardtop installed, there was a cover for the rear defrost wiring harness.

With the soft top installed, the wire is just tucked into the side of the rear passenger area with no cover.

Is there/should there be a cover for the wiring harness with the soft top installed?

Yep, should have a cover
Well, guess I’ll be vaguely describing something at the parts counter in the near-future...

Might be the same cover. My soft top JT has the plastic cover with space under it at the top rear corner for the wiring to snake out of the pocket.

I ordered, received, and installed the cover sass JT shared.

It is definitely different from the hardtop cover and fits perfectly.
