Cowl Lights without Factory Aux Switches

I ended up buying some 3" pod lights and a wiring harness from Harbor Freight. I don't have the factory aux switches to run them to. Do I need to buy switches as well? The wiring harness I got has a switch but I'm not a fan of the look and would like to avoid cutting holes if possible.

This is my first time doing anything like this so any recommendations or help would be much appreciated!

You can run the old fashioned way (wire harness to battery or fuse box and run switch to inside and use your switch or purchase a new one). You'd need to pick a spot for switch mounting and drill a hole
If you're looking at additional wiring needs, there are many products that replicate the OEM switch assembly. They allow you to wire the box in the engine bay connected to a switch assembly in the cab and attach the accessories to the box under the hood. just a quick list from Amazon:

There are tons of switches on the market for pod lighting. Wiring principle is basically the same. Here’s 2 I’m looking at hard.

Do I need 8 switches? Probably not but it leaves room for future expansion if I decide to go light crazy or just want to wire up a screaming goat horn in the future.

The drivers side firewall has a round plastic plug. easy to pull out and drill your hole to run the cable through it and pop it back in, super easy
