Cowl Mount GMRS antenna - any gotchas?

I had my ghost antenna cowl mounted on the driver’s side of my wrangler using a cooltech mount and plan to do the same on my JTDR. Are then any issues running through the firewall grommet?

No issues. I’M on my second JTRD with zero issues running it through the firewall grommet on the drivers side above and left of brake pedal.

Thanks! With everything crammed in there and semi reversed, I wasn’t sure if that grommet was going to be available or not.

Thanks! With everything crammed in there and semi reversed, I wasn’t sure if that grommet was going to be available or not.

I pulled it out by hand from the engine bay, a simple twist and it popped right off.
