Cowl or Other Custom Hood

I have the basic hood on my Gladiator and am leaning toward getting something different. After doing some searching, the custom hoods online are as wild and varied as the angry grille faces. I'm looking for something more simple like a basic cowl hood or maybe a large scoop—something that gives the look of a taller hood without being over-designed with too many cut-outs and a million different corners and curves just for the heck of it. I like both the Mojave and Rubicon hoods but would like something taller that changes the side profile of the truck a little more. The Cervinis hood is also nice, but I'm thinking some better options are out there. Do y'all have any suggestions on a taller hood with a simple design?

The side profile of the Mojave hood is about an inch higher then the Rubicon, and sitting next to other Jeeps it does give the higher profile, along with less close front visibility, just saying....Jack

how does your jeep ride with them tires ? gas mileage? Im thinking of doing this if I actually
complete my jeep purchase . I found a leak on the jeep first night I had it and they agreed to fix it and thats been a few days ago. I was thinking of getting some tires like that and storing the others in the shop.

Those are the original Bridgestone highway tires. I put some Cooper Road & Trails on. It rides fine and minimal loss in gas mileage. These are the Road & Trail

These tires look alot like the base sport max tow dueller RH-S AT tires. I like the look and i am sure they ride and wear very well. what size ?

I do like the Mojave hood a lot. It's basically what I'm looking for, but I'd like the scoop to be a little taller.

I'm still hunting, but that may be what I end up going with. I also thought this one looks pretty good. It's close to being over-aggressive but a similar look.

Instead, it's MPR. I wonder if that stands for Mojave Plus Rubicon.

I think it does stand for that.. I believe a few other websites have some good ones. Be careful of buying the older ones that are for the JK because you will have issues with fitment, They will work but its a pain in the A$$. Also check material as some are steel and others are carbon blah blah lol Not sure if you want that as i heard the paint will bubble with heat. See "SANDSTROM" Concept hoods and fenders as well. Let us know what you land on please.

I thought about doing a different hood but decided against it. I think the sport hood looks better and allows for the 90w Cascadia 4x4 solar panel addition. I believe Mojave and Rubicon get the 45w. It’s not a lot but that extra bit helps.

We have a new leader in the clubhouse. I wish it was metal instead of fiberglass, though.
