Hello, I have been looking for cowl light mounts and I am narrowing it down. I would like to have the option to drop the windshield for no other reason but my boys would love it. Having the pod lights further over and possibly down would help keep my field of view more open too. I am planning on a 3" white pod lights and possibly mounting a smaller 1 or 2 LED amber light.
Option 1 - Exceed Cowl Mount - Windshield can be put down if the lights are mounted on the side. Not sure if the windshield will flex enough to hit the mount. Sub $50 with shipping.
Option 2 - Diode Dynamics - Windshield can definitely fold down with pod lights. $120. Price is high for me but they look great.
Option 3 - Maiker Dual Pod Mount - I don't think I could fit two and be able to fold the windshield down. - $80
Have you used any of the three above?
Here is a photo of my gladiator. I still need to swap in some rubicon front springs, get my hands on a stock exhaust to modify, and get a front bumper w/ Badlands 12k.
Within 24hrs I had rock rails, metal door panel storage inserts, and a bulletpoint pic rail installed.
