For the footwells I simply changed the factory white LEDs for a set of blue ones. They send you the exact same LED board which replaces the originals in the light housing. Really easy but expensive. I can't recall who makes them but I'll look it up and post it for you. .

I did some modifying of this harness so I could move the 12v outlet over to the right, I extended a couple of the wires.
But as it comes - it's a fused 12 volt power tap, on and off with the 12v outlet.
