Day 23 - Gladiator still down!

My Rubicon Gladiator with 1500mi went down with a bad clunk noise up front on 8/30/2019, 9 days after purchase. Take it to a local dealership, they think it's a sensor. They replace a sensor clunk noise is still felt & heard up front, so dealer decides to replace the whole front axle since single parts are not available. Waited for parts, finally get a call today it's ready. I go for a test drive before I pick it up. Truck veers to the right and has a bad vibration felt throughout cabin at highway speed. I get the feeling my truck will never be the same, this sucks. I don't even get the new car smell in it anymore. So, I left it at the dealer, hopefully they figure something out.

Uh oh. Sounds like a simple alignment BUT the vibration peaks my curiosity. I have a vibe at highway speeds that is consistent, and sometimes even felt in the steering wheel. Wondering if there is a flaw in the front axle assemblies since you mentioned the symptom arising after getting a whole new front axle. Keep us posted.

My VIN doesn't qualify for the "recall" , just hope this gets figured out soon. Nothing like paying for a 60k truck, so it can be at service!

Well, finally made it out of service! Not sure if I want to be excited or just whatever! I had high Hope's, get my lift kit, wheels, tires and other accessories. It's almost like I'm expecting for it to break down again, definitely need to sell this Gladiator and pick up a new one - which I hope will not breakdown after 1 week of owning.
It made to 24 days being out of service! Hopefully I can get a car payment out of this shenanigans

Talking to the escalated case manager; she wants me to test drive and annotate all issues. I will turn in for service with a list. After test driving a new one - I know my truck is a lemon! That front axle replacement screwed up it's safety drivability. . . . I got your next crash test vehicle Jeep!
