Yep, pulled mine off as soon as I got home. Last 3 vehicles, did the same thing.

I've only left the plate frame on one of my vehicles. That Mercedes dealer earned it, in my opinion. After the papers were signed, and while the car was being fueled and detailed, sales guy broke out some JW blue label for a few sips. Gave me a MB hat, keychain, gloves, umbrella, duffle bag, 2 free full details (not just a service wash). And service there was awesome. They'd come pick up my car and drop off a loaner, bring my car back and pick up the loaner.

My Jeep dealer can KMA. All of it.

I left the dealer tag on my wife’s 2019 Forester since it is a lease and they treated us awesome. We plan on leasing again from them when it’s time to turn it back in.

For my vehicles I usually take it off.

I leave it on for spite because the sales manager at my local dealership told me I was dumb to drive 6 hours out of state to save 5k. Everytime I go in for a free oil change I get someone asking me where the dealer was I got it at and always affords me an opportunity to tell him how big of an ass clown the sales manager is.

Even Carmax doesn't do that around these parts. Never seen any stickers on cars from any dealers. Only thing they do is license plate frames and those come off as soon as the real plates come in the mail when I put on my own frame. No point doing it twice.

I remember when I bought a BMW I ordered from the factory. Debadging the car was a factory option and the car came with only the white and blue BMW emblem on the hood and trunk

Now day with the ability to internet search, does anybody actually get persuaded by a dealer's decal and/or plate frame to do any business with that dealer? I don't pay much attention to the specific decal dealer name, just notice how tacky they make a vehicle appear to me.

My dealership has been great to work with and have purchased many Jeeps from them so leaving on the plate frame is fine with me. Decals no.
Just think if all the HD riders felt the same way about advertising, there wouldn't be many t shirt sales. But of course we choose to purchase those. Isn't it great we pay to advertise for the dealership...laughing

T-shirts and apparel are a big percentage of HD gross income, bikes not so much now.

I always de-badge, most everything. The last Ram 1500 was the worst. On the tailgate alone was a "dealer sticker, dealer plate frame, 4X4, Longhorn and Ram horns". The side was "hemi, 4X4, Longhorn, 1500, RAM". All gone but the bolted on Ram horns front and rear. The inside was also a cluttered mess but tougher to clean. I'll leave "Rubicon" on the Jeep.

I always add it to the negotiations. I state it upfront to the dealer and have never had a truck delivered with ads on it. Rent a billboard for a month; it's expensive! Lol

It's funny how no one, including me, like to advertise our vehicle dealerships. Around here though folks purchase dealership stickers and logos for local Harley Davidson shops, even get T-Shirts to advertise individual dealers. I have a oil dipstick with a 23 yo dealer logo on my ,'97 Softail, long since out of business. Guys in the know who used that shop always comment. If only Jeep could make it cool like H-D did.

I make sure there are no decals or plaques before I make the deal. I let them think the lisc are frame will stay in but remove it as soon as I get home.
