ExactlyRobison Harley Davidson. Bought shirt in the 80s. They sold in 93. Damn, the good news is I still have the shirt. The bad news...you guessed it, it no longer fits...lol
Every other bike on the road in my area is a new H-D. It seems cool now to own a bike from just about any manufacturer other than Harley. New H-Ds flooded our markets, drove resale values to ridiculous lows. Good for someone wanting to get into one.T-shirts and apparel are a big percentage of HD gross income, bikes not so much now.

I really don't go out of my way to remove a dealer decal unless it is obtrusive or I was in my mind " Done Wrong". The one on there now is from the Volvo dealership I got it from. I will eventually get around to removing it. It is maybe 2x4 inches. But that dealer treated me great. Got a smoking deal on my JTR and a smoking deal on my 2015 Z71 Colorado. I could not be more happy. If I feel like the dealer treated me well, I have no problem leaving their advertisement on, if it's somewhat unobtrusive.
I once saw a Corvette with a big red and white dealer decal smack dab in the center of the rear end- literally centered between the tail lights![]()
Glad you didn't get suckered into the alarm system, I bet it was expensive for what you get such a high profit for the dealer. I would be hard for me to have any trust in a dealer trying to trick me like that.<Snip>
They also told me all of there vehicles are shipped to them with an after market alarm system which I had to buy. I got up ready to leave and that went away.

THAT is always my first modification and if I have to use a heat gun on a sticker or pop off a plastic stick on then acetone the glue, it's coming off when my Jeep hits the driveway. This has always bothered me. Does it bother anyone else? Not just on Jeeps but all vehicles.
License plate frames are one thing, but a sticker or plaque on the vehicle? No thanks.
I was lucky enough to catch mine on the lot before they tramp stamped it. I informed them what I would charge them for advertising their dealership on the paint of my new Jeep. I thought my offer was reasonable.
$50/mo for the 15 years I plan on keeping it.
They declined my offer.
I did not trust them but it was Gobi last Fall with only the options I wanted. I did not have a whole lot of options if I wanted GobiGlad you didn't get suckered into the alarm system, I bet it was expensive for what you get such a high profit for the dealer.
