Something odd: The Rubicon is listed at $66080 List price, but the pic shows it as a softtop and std trans. Then I went to the Jeep Build and selected every single option available which only adds up to $6410...maybe they have added on those INFLATED Nitrogen tires and lifetime window tint...again

That's not a discount. Folks are already getting ~5% under invoice. $3500 off MSRP is close to invoice on a loaded Rubi.
Yes, but it is a discount off MSRP. At least it is not a "Market adjustment" over MSRP. Better than a bunch of dealers out there.

LOL. That's some shit. They jack up the MSRP by $6k, then they discount it by $3500. You're still paying $2500 over MSRP. Ridiculous.
I checked through several and didnt see that. All "list prices" were same as the sticker and then the discount came off that.

Haha, that Rubicon with the $66,080 MSRP is a joke. Once you click on the window sticker button, it shows $59,090 MSRP!

I did not see any stickers, nor does it say MSRP, what it says is LIST price, so how do you end up with a $66k + price when every option added does not even come close???

Top right of each truck page has a link to the sticker for that vehicle. I am calling about that one Rubicon to see if they have made aftermarket mods to it. All the rest seem to have the "list price" equal the MSRP on the sticker then reduced by the discount.

I will let you know what they tell me about that Rubicon.

Here's an example of their BS.

Jeep Gladiator Dealership *already* offering discounts INktM0N

When you look up the VIN number on the buildsheet servlet:

https://www.jeep.com/webselfservice/BuildSheetServlet?vin=1C6JJTBG6LL101986

You see it's not even fully loaded. First of all, you can't spec out a Gladiator to $66k even with all the options. I think you top out at $62k.
So yeah, these guys are crooks. It's basically a $57k spec being sold for $62k. Doesn't have front camera, rubber mats, bluetooths speaker, dual top, steel front bumper, .....

You are basing "crooks" off ONE Rubicon listing without any information as to why its marked up. This dealership routinely up-spec a vehicle or two with aftermarket mods. Talk about jumping to conclusions. Give me a moment to get the info from the dealer about that one. Do you see any others that are like that?

you very well might be right. But they really should mention that in their ad.
My guess is, even if they have a 2" lift and 35s on it, that's worth $3000 installed. Not $8000.

I just got the callback from the dealer on the $66K Rubicon. It has been aftermarket upgraded with a 2" lift and 35" wheels. Not sure if that is worth the $7K markup, possibly closer with labor costs and nicer tires. My estimate would be $1500 in hardware for the lift and another $1500 in tires plus $750 in labor to get it installed. The sales guy did not have any info on the lift other than it is a 2" lift, so I assume it would be the Mopar lift.

So they are putting a premium on the aftermarket stuff, but would not put it in the ballpark of "crooks". The dealers putting stock Rubicons on their lots for $20K over MSRP are the real crooks.

I definitely agree, not including information in the ad to justify the markup is a mistake.

Yes, an then offering a "discount" when it's really a markup is a little shiesty, but not as bad when you consider the upgrades.
okay, i'll take back the "crooks" commend, and replace with "disingenuous".
