I could care less about getting passed. Out west, everything is a long drive compared to the east coast. If the speed limit is 75mph and the highway patrol won't even budge if I'm cruising 85mph I'm setting the cruise at 85 every time. Our AZ property is 600 miles away and we make that drive ~10 times per year. Sure I could roll 20mph slower and camp out in the slow lane to save 2mpg... and add 2 hours to the drive each way. Gas is cheap compared to the 40+ hours a year I save driving like I do. Moab is 1100 miles. On 1 wheeling trip driving 20mph quicker I'll literally save 8 hours. That's an entire extra day wheeling in moab for a few mpg penalty. Time is my most valuable asset so I save it where I can.I just let em pass piss on it
