Deer strike, need to replace a few parts

Deer jumped in front of me, bent the bumper back a few inches and pushed the moulding front left marker lights down and broke a few tabs, the actual fender survived, no paint damage. I am looking on Mopars parts , the diagrams are less than helpful. Not sure if I have to replace the entire fender (I hope not) what parts I would need and also the bumper. The left side was pushed in, it is a 21 Gladiator Sport S. Any info would be helpful.

When I hit a deer ? I had the body shop price the three piece steel bumper to replace the original. Worked out well, I like the look much better than the original

Or he can get one of the free front bumpers out there. Lots of them have been given away or sold dirt cheap just on the forum (not to mention FB marketplace)



Quite true - they consider it beyond the control of the driver, something that can't be anticipated or avoided in most cases.

Check with your insurance carrier.. Comprehensive covers deer hits and according to my carrier will not increase rates. BTW for all reading, check on the cost of Comprehensive with $0 to $50 deductible - you might be surprised at how little it is and what is covered by Comp.

Lolz.. Don't do anything that's why there are body shops and insurance companies.. this one lil accident is gonna cost more than a years worth of comprehensive ; ) (to do it right)

Deer is one reason I did what I did. I've already had a friend ask me about the bumper and bar - maybe a bigger bar for grill protection because his wife wants a Jeep - and they live in the sticks where there's a lot of deer. He figured my bumper could handle a typical deer hit. I know it could - heck, the bumper on my SX4 was unphased years ago when I hit Bambi's aunt and it's an aluminum bumper. The bumper had just a minor bend where the molding on the end of the bumper merged with the bumper - straighten with a big crescent wrench. But the headlights were busted up and the right fender shoved back against the door and the back edge of the fender missed the windshield by maybe .010" at best.
I figure my truck won't do as well with a hit like that car took because of all of the plastic and the way the fenders lay. My car flipped Mrs. Deer across the highway ditch into someone's front yard and the car is a 4wd so sits taller than some of today's "SUVs".

Not sure where you’re from but I have a bumper minus the fog light harness (but has the fog lights) near Pittsburgh Pa, you can have it.

I have seen a few bumpers out there but usually have scuffs etc, got to be clean so I dont have issues when I turn it back in.

yeah, too far for a bumper. I often go to CT to visit Mohegan Sun casino, I’ll actually be there next month for my 40th but we usually fly.

I hit a deer. Replaced bumper, grill, led headlights, ac condenser, that is all I can think of right now. I got a police report and had it on dash cam for insurance, but I ended up just doing it myself.
