I got the same countdown-of-death at 600 miles. Still back at dealership. They’re trying to replace both nox sensors

No issues with my 22 build date of 12/21. 4k miles, I've added 1 jug of def so far. Engine off if that makes a difference. All Regen have been mileage based except for 1. Monitored via scan guage

It’s post like this that makes me second guess my JTRD order…
Go back to the dealership, take a gas powered Gladiator out for another test drive…. Then get back into a diesel and take it for a drive on the same route, go home with silly grin on your face and try and remain calm while waiting for your new ride to arrive.

Clearly the DEF system sucks for all Diesel rigs since the advent of “dry” diesel, but until the new gas with turbo engine is available in a Gladiator, there’s nothing else like it?, and I’m at 15,000 miles of daily driving and all weekend trips in North Dakota. Short of moving to Canada, can’t get much more strenuous on the diesel system.

Sleep well with your decision.

OP, did they resolve your issue? Bought my JTWD last month and I had the countdown almost immediately. 25k on the clock. Love the truck, hate the DEF system.
anyhow, service dept I took it to stated it has been in shop before for same issue 3x. Ecm and both nox sensors have been replaced more than once but not the tank, injector or heater. They refused to work on it so I had to ship it to the dealer I purchased it from. They are in process of doing a fix…

I love how not a single person in here said I put X amount of DEF in the tank and still got the same results...

No issues with my 2022 JTOD 12k miles in, I've put DEF in it 3 or 4 times already. One thing I can say is when I put it in at the pump it didn't last anywhere near as long as the boxed stuff did. My .02

I put zero DEF in. DEF tank is full. To clarify, my issue is with the system itself and not with fluid level.

I’m pretty sure if you delete (or even attempt to) the DEF system that will void your warranty.

It's fairly easy to reverse the delete assuming you keep all your stock parts. Maybe a few hours of labor to put it back to stock.

I’m interested in doing a delete. What good is a warranty if they don’t fix anything. I’ll plant some more corn and tomatoes to offset my carbon footprint. Any leads on a programmer?

Ate my own words. 27k on the odometer and just got the service def see dealer message. I was in the middle of a trail on Sedona 6 1/2 hours from home. It was in the low 30s, don’t think temps were low enough to freeze.
