Ecidiego, that pic reminds me of when I was a teen in Santa Ana. New Year’s Eve of ‘78, we threw a party. (We we’re all 17 and 18). We picked up 5 kegs of Miller at a distributor, who happened to be directly across the street from the Police Department. At shift change, no less. An officer pulled up behind us while we’re loading them up. (Picture 3 paranoid teens, loading a ‘55 Ford wagon full of kegs). He walks up, and asks us “having a party?” All 3 of us, in unison, said “noooooooo”. He just laughed, said to be careful, and drove off.

So what was it you figured out

I figured out that after an evening of heavy drinking, it is possible to lose a car and think it was just a crazy dream. When I woke up, I knew something was wrong when my car was missing. "Son, where's your car?" "Ah, I don't know, but I think it is upside down in a ditch off Highway 11." A real learning experience, that was.
