First, why is there speculation that “tons of regular JT’s” will be on the roads first and all you LE folks will still be waiting? Order banks won’t open until May for us non LE folk.....

Second, all the Rubicons you see people saying they got delivered were FCA employees (management/executive) offerings. They get first dibs on a specific configured model and there’s a specific qty available. It was an internal offering only.

Third, Limited Edition doesn’t mean 1st built Edition. It only means we will not see the special features and badging ever again. If your not 1 of the 4190 built.

All in all you LE buyers will have a special model and will be driving it on the streets well before any of us common JT purchasers will.
It's called launch edition not limited edition.

Im not upset because I honestly would never have bought a vehicle with literally every option if not for this. More importantly, my wife would have never went for it. For some reason she was all in with the launch edition.

I don’t feel misled. FCA did not actually provide any information on delivery.
It’s only been rumors and speculation based on some statements made to dealers and other info that people clearly made up.

Would it have been awesome if they were the first to be delivered? YES

Would it have been awesome if they had pre-built these and hand delivered them? YES

But, I’m not an engineer, nor do I run a plant, so I have no idea what the implications are not all the things that FCA considered.
I assume they’ll have some more surprises even.

So no, not misled. But I’ll still complain that it is called the “launch” edition, so it should be delivered first :)

The members of this board are better informed than 99% of dealers. The general public sees the dealer as Jeep, even though we know that's not how it works. Jeep provided dealers with little to no info for the general public when they ordered. I do think Jeep intentionally kept the GP in the dark about what exactly they were purchasing. Lucky for us, we have a couple dealers on this forum that provided us with solid information so we could make an informed decision as to whether or not the LE was something we wanted.

IMO the name launch edition coupled with the lack of info is misleading

for once ole Fivers isn't creating a problem! Here's my take

(1) y'all got only a limited time FWP
(2) day one you stop at a light next to any JT and you win.
(3) day forty one hundred and ninety (until inifnity) you pull up next to any JT you win.
(4) put your plywood sunglasses on and be coo! You are the champions, my friends.
(5) sell me your best up LE in a couple years 40K OTD lol
(6) Plywood Broherhood.

Um, no...that’s not right. You know there are 5 Supra generations (4 in US)?

Um, no...I do now though! Thanks for the info, my point was only that the new Supra is garbage!

Agreed. Maybe they will realize they failed and upgrade in the next few years...
They had such a wonderful opportunity to bring an amazing car to market in the new gen Supra which has a cult following instead they released a Z4 with the Supra label smh LOL

If you were just basing your purchase on the name “Launch Edition” and the emails you received from FCA, you could feel mislead.

The people responding saying “if you did your homework you would have known...” obviously don't feel mislead because they have been on the forums and such, before ordering.
