Diesel Gladiator Fix -- when will high pressure fuel pump fix will be out?

Ah the age old Service Advisor. You might as well rely on random google threads and Wikipedia. Those guys, though generally more knowledgeable than the sales folks, don’t know any more than an informed/educated owner. They aren’t privy to special info for this exact reason, they spill the beans lol.

All good though, wasn’t trying to argue. Just thought I’d throw my 2 cents in too. Cheers!

Does anyone know when the high pressure fuel pump fix will be out. I have a 2021 Rubicon gas, ordered a stuffed 2023 Diesel in March, it was built in April and 4 days before it got to the dealership, I got a call telling me although it was 4 days out, they could not deliver it as it was subject to a recall that they did not have a fix for yet. Any info will be greatly appreciated.

It must be out- father in-law has an appointment Monday they are swapping his pump out. Walls walls Washington. - first one I have heard…. Dealers in western Washington have said nothing.
Replacement pump supposed to be a 2 hour job. Guess we will see Tuesday….

Did his go bad and they are putting in the same model pump or is he getting the upgraded model? My dealer told me they are "on the way" in CA and should start seeing them mid august. 60k mi with no issues....yet.

My dealer told me they are expecting them to start arriving in September. I have no idea if there is any truth to this. They also said they would only get a handful of hpfp's a week and it would take a long time to get through all the vehicles.

It's a very small percentage of people who have had issues. If it were to happen to me I think I'd find the old version of the fuel pump and install it myself until there is a real solution. I know people are going months without their vehicle.

I work in dealerships and also had the same thing happen on the Diesel I was picking up but 2 days out. I know the shop foreman well and he just told me fix was coming this month. They will take care of any repairs 1st before they start with diesels on the lot. So we’re both kinda expecting October/November.

Well if it werent for the epa, we’d have more reliable and efficient diesels, probably manual ones and 2drs for the JL, plus factory hemi’s instead of Aftermarket swaps

Received this today from a dealer.
You inquired on the 2023 Jeep Gladiator. The vehicle is here and available. Per our manufacturer rep the remedy for the recall will be available next Thursday 8/17. The vehicle can be sold this month. If you'd like to discuss purchasing we can proceed with everything except for taking the vehicle home. This will give you the ability to make sure you don't lose out if someone else comes by to purchase as well. These gladiators have a lot of traffic recently due to the inability to purchase previously, so if you want this one don't wait or you could miss out!

I was at the dealer Yesterday, showed them my recall papers & said I’d heard a fix was imminent. Asked them to see if new parts were available to order yet, they said they don’t have part numbers or any info on a fix. SO how may I ask do you ‘have an appointment’ in 8 days to have yours fixed?

I put mine in the shop with several problems it's having and I asked about the pump today since mine is on recall and they had no idea.
I don't know what's going on with these issues going on.

Kind of the same. I scheduled an oil change for the 17th and told them to also put me down for my z96 fuel pump fix. Scheduling lady said “sure” but couldn’t confirm if they could actually do but put it on the service schedule. I’ll let everyone know what happens next Thursday.
