We got 72k miles on the one we bought in January with zero issues so far so wanted to stay with the same setup

My personal/work truck is a 22' and my other work truck is a 22' both with issues. My personal truck has been at the dealership for 11months.....I just got it back and its not looking good. Hdrams.com has a ton of information and is a forum like this, good group of guys with a lot of knowledge.

That sucks we sold a 22 Mega longhorn with 31k miles and that guy had some issues Ram replaced all his emissions junk and I think he's been good. Our 20"s have been some of the best we had so far I've owned 39 new cummins truck's would never change but almost did in 07. I'll check out that forum Thanks for the tip

2020 is a good year. 2021+ they seemed to change emissions components and program. 2022 seems to be the worst of them and 2023/2024s not many are over 40k miles. If your into Ram trucks it's definitely a place you would like. I am Dinky503 over there.

It seems unlikely a diesel would return to the platform. High risk for Stellantis to go all in on the political change, all for it to potentially change again in 4 years (and potentially be unable to sell them in the many CARB states). Even if the regs were relaxed, the emissions control devices( SCR/DPF/EGR) would remain and continue to really negatively affect the engine.

What Rockman said. Cali is behind auto emissions and HVAC changes. No manufacturer is going to do battle with them.

It is not a 7.2L. Cummins is working on one but still in development and still not confirmed it will be in a Ram truck. They are targeting the commercial world with it.
Everything that has been showing up in my feeds say it's a 7.2L for 2025. But they not say when in '25. I'm due for a new company truck next year. Driving a F250 now. The Chevy 2500's we have suck. The Fords are not too far behind. They wouldn't let me have the '24 Ram that we got earlier this year. I drove it and liked it.

As a dealer that sales 85% diesel trucks I will no longer buy duramax trucks just to expensive to work on and to many repairs. I'm personally a Ram guy have been all my life since I bought my first one new in 92. Ford's are ok the new 6.7 fird is a string motor but have had a ton of fuel issues with them. My recommendation buy a Ram.

Yeah tons of new feeds saying it but no real 100% answers. I love my 2022 3500 only 50k on it. I just wish it would quit regening and i am waiting on thing and maybe I'll lose some weight . I really hope the 2025s get squared away.

Over the years for trucks. I've had 3 Chebys, 1 Ferd, 1 Nissan, 1 Dodge, 1 Ram, and this JT. The Mopars have had zero problems. I got rid of the Chebys and Ferd just after about 2 years of ownership. Problems out the ass. The Nissan was a total rust bucket after 9 yrs and 120,000 miles.
