OK, this one is for the people that deal with snow and salt every year. In my last pickup, I hit a rock hidden in some tall grass out in a field. The drive shaft took most of the blow and it vibrated something fierce from 60-75 mph.
I'd like to avoid that with the Gladiator, but now that I'm living in the snow and salt again, I'm thinking skids for the axles and diffs might hold that salt more and end up causing more damage than they'd be protecting me from. Cure is worse than the disease sort of thing. Anyone use a diff skid plate in the north?
