Replaced OEM plastic bumper with a MP Concepts aluminum winch bumper. Replaced halogen floods with DD Elite series LED floods. Removed plastic bumper flood lights wiring harness and installed in new bumper. Used DD’s wiring jumpers to connect everything. Lights won’t come on! Anyone else run into problems with these lights or harnesses?

I didn't change bumpers. But it was literally plug and play for mine. Wiring jumpers? Mine didn't have jumpers, there was a dual ended connection thingy

The DD lights had a different plug pattern, the jumpers or pigtails matched both the old harness end and the new lights. In their instructions, they say turn the plugs over if they don’t work. The plugs can only connect one way, you can’t flip them over?

Were your original lights led or halogen? Sometimes you need to reprogram the Jeep to match the new lights. Did you test the lights straight to the battery?

If the light set did not include resistors, you will need a Jscan setup to update the computer settings from Halogen to LED.

At least with KC, they want you to have the setting on led for fogs, but that’s only if you’re connecting to the factory wiring.

I ended up changing mine to a relay. I’m using the factory switch to signal the relay, but the fogs are powered by the battery, with a fuse of course. The Jeep charging system was messing with the lights too much. Noe they’re working perfectly. I wrote up how I did it in the “what did you do to” thread on Thursday I think

Depends on the light and harness.

Hey there!

Just to clarify—are you referring to our Elite Series fog lamps? We don’t currently offer an Elite Series flood light, so I want to make sure we’re on the same page. Or do you happen to have an SS3 fog light kit installed instead?

Either way, both setups are designed to be bolt-on and plug-and-play. If the lights aren’t turning on, try flipping the connectors 180°—sometimes the polarity just needs to be reversed.

If that doesn’t solve it, try plugging your original halogen bulb back in to confirm if there’s power at the factory connector. No Tazer or other programmer is required—our fog lamps are compatible with vehicles originally equipped with halogen fogs.

Still no luck? Our customer service team would be happy to help with troubleshooting or arranging a warranty exchange if needed:

How do you turn them 180? The plastic housing is indexed to only go one way?
